Have completed both an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited four-year sequence of study in psychology, and
either an APAC-accredited fifth and sixth year course in psychology, or a postgraduate research degree in psychology (minimum 2 years full-time).
Registration pathway (Work)
Hold current general registration as a psychologist in Australia, and
Have held general registration as a psychologist in Australia for at least five years, and
Have worked as a registered psychologist for the full-time equivalent of at least five years.
Registration pathway (National Psychology Exam)
Have completed a four-year sequence of study in psychology accredited by APAC, and
Have passed the National Psychology Examination, and
Hold current general registration as a psychologist in Australia
Associate Member
You can join as an Associate Member if you:
Have completed a four-year APAC-accredited sequence in psychology (or comparable sequence in psychology, as assessed by the APS); or
Hold current provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (no academic transcripts required to join this way)

The grade of Affiliate requires completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited three-year sequence of study in psychology.
Student Subcriber
You are eligible to become a Student Subscriber if you are currently enrolled in an APAC-accredited course or a postgraduate research degree in psychology, such as a PhD.
